The School Day

The school day runs from 8.45am to 3.15pm, meaning the school is open for 32.5 hours weekly. However, there is the opportunity to drop children off at Breakfast Club daily from 7.30am and use our after school wrap-around care (XT Club) up to 6pm.

• The school gates are open daily from 8.35 - 8.45am, allowing a 10 minute window to drop-off.
• YR, Y1, Y2 & Y4 access the site via the main pedestrian gate (by Manorcroft Nursery) and Y3, Y5 & Y6 access the site via the small pedestrian gate (by the Bowls Club).
• All children walk independently into school and are encouraged to arrive at 8.35am, which allows for a calm start to the day. Staff are on duty every morning and available at the gates.
• Morning registration is at 8.45am prompt. Arrival after this time is recorded as 'late'.
• The morning session ends at 12.05pm for lunch and the afternoon session starts promptly at 1.00pm.
• The school day finishes at 3.15pm. The gates open from 3.05pm, allowing parents to access the site and wait in the correct area for each year group. Please do not be late to collect your child.
